Countdown has begun – only 4wks to go until the first party (the blokes) fly to LA.  They leave on June 30, followed by Jayne & Robyn on July 2nd – yeehaa!

Roger & Robyn:

Roger has long had a dream to tour America on a Harley.  First step was to get back into biking so 4yrs ago we joined the Ulysses Club, met new friends & went on regular weekend rides.  We loved it!

Howard & Jayne:

The Plan

In November last year, after a Whangamonal wet weekend away with our friends, the idea of travelling to the MotoGP in Laguna-Seca was first raised & embraced wholeheartedly.

A few drinks later, we managed to secure our tickets & accommodation, then gradually put our travel plan together.  Jayne is the World Whizz at this!  Our 3 1/2wk trip will cover 4 states before heading home to NZ.

After some research, we decided to purchase fairly new Harleys in LA & ship them back after our adventure.  Roger found a 2007 Fatboy, Howard a Heritage Softail.  New helmets are now fitted with intercoms, GPS & ipod.
